Readings, Consultations, and Lessons
I offer a variety of services including readings, consultations or lessons, both in-person or over the phone. If you purchase a Reading, tarot and pendulum readings may be conducted on the phone or in person. Palmistry and tea leaf readings must take place in person. Psychometry necessitates the receipt of a photograph or a print from a graphic file before the reading begins. If you're interested in a Consultation, we can talk about anything that interests you and i can combine a divination with personal instructions for spellcasting. For instance, i can prescribe conjure supplies for your condition or situation, teach you the use of appropriate Psalms, give you magical spells by direct verbal instruction, or advise you about your spiritual path. If you'd like a Lesson, i can describe for you various aspects of world-wide folk magic, discuss old-time rural acoustic blues and country music, recommend ways to improve your website business presence through search engine optimization, and bring you up to date on recent medical studies on the relationships between ethnicity, genealogy, and genetics. Finally, I also offer Business Coaching, where we can spend one hour analyzing what will lead you to success in the world of business.

Candle Services Ministry
If you cannot burn vigil or novena candles in your home for any reason (for instance, because of safety concerns or because you do not want anyone in the home to see them burning — we will prepare, pray over, and set lights for you here on the consecrated altars of Missionary Independent Spiritual Church. Candle Reports are provided for glass-encased vigil candles more extensive burns of glass-encased candles burned on the MISC altars. The work (dressing the candles, affixing Petitions, praying on your behalf, and mailing you a Candle Report) is done at no charge (donations gladly accepted), giving you an interpretation of the outcome based on the ancient art of ceromancy, or divination by wax.

Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course
I teach a 1-year correspondence course presenting African American magical techniques. Hoodoo is primarily the folk magic of Southern Black Christian culture. In teaching the practical aspects of folk culture and spellcraft to students, i employ a method called "cultural immersion" as a form of outreach to my non-Black students.

Hoodoo Rootwork Course Apprenticeship
The Hoodoo Rootwork Course Apprenticeship is a three-week series of lectures, personal training, and hands-on guidance in the history and use of conjure supplies. These lectures are taught by Miss cat, supervised by the Lucky Mojo Shop Manager, Sister Robin Petersen, and given in three one-week intervals around the calendar of the year. They require two work-days in trade during each week, and the qualified candidate must be a Graduate in good standing of Miss cat's Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course (see above). All Apprentices are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement with the teacher.

Annual Hoodoo Training Workshops
The Missionary Independent Spiritual Church (MISC) hosts a weekend of Hoodoo Training Workshops once a year in early May to discuss African American magical techniques and explore other aspects of spirituality. These workshops are a wonderful opportunity to learn from Miss cat as she and several of the world's top rootworkers discuss all aspects of hoodoo and conjure.
